had an incredible 2023 – with her Eras Tour completely dominating live music around the world for most of the year. She played in dozens of countries all over the globe, performed to millions of Swifties, and was even named Time Magazine’s Person of the Year.

Swifties, on the other hand, have had it hard. Tickets for Taylor’s Eras Tour sold out almost instantly as soon as they hit the internet. As a result, countless fans were left without any way to see the star hit stages around the UK. To be sure, it has been a Great War for them all.

And the race is on. For the first time, the Anti-Hero will be bringing her triumphant and powerful Eras Tour to Great Britain (and greater Europe) this summer. Tickets were finally officially released on June 18, 2023 – but this was the beginning of a Cruel Summer for many dedicated fans who suffered through some rotten luck.

Thankfully, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. While official tickets have more or less sold out, Ticketmaster is also selling official resale tickets (when they are available). And there are also many other online ticket resellers offering Taylor Swift tickets now.

And this is where we come in.

Where to buy Taylor Swift resale tickets right now

Tickets for Taylor Swift’s UK show dates are still available right now. Although AXS and Ticketmaster are the official websites to purchase and resell tickets, you may have to hunt your tickets down from one of a few resale websites where you can buy tickets, depending on availability.

The following websites (such as viagogo and Vivid Seats) allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that AEG and AXS state that tickets are strictly not to be resold after initial purchase. They stated: “Any tickets found to be purchased via re-sale on the non-official secondary market will not be valid for entry into the concerts.”

With that said, viagogo also commented: “viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the freedom to buy and sell tickets to their favourite live events, safely and securely, backed by a guarantee.”

If you’re still keen to buy resale tickets for the Eras Tour, here are some websites that are offering Taylor Swift resale tickets:

Should you buy Taylor Swift resale tickets?

Excited fans will of course be looking for any way to buy tickets for Taylor Swift’s upcoming UK tour, and will no doubt eventually turn to ticket reselling websites – but is it safe?

Resale ticket websites, such as viagogo and Vivid Seats, give fans opportunities to buy tickets from other outlets, rather than having to endure the mad rush that came when they were originally released.

These tickets are being sold directly by other fans who can either no longer attend the Taylor Swift shows or no longer want to. But fans should be aware that purchasing from these resale sites comes with their terms and conditions.

These tickets can be bought at such affordable prices as £100 per purchase. There are also other (more expensive) tickets on offer for some of the star’s biggest shows throughout the UK – including at London’s Wembley Stadium (where she is playing six times across 2024).

However, Ticketmaster, AEG and AXS have already stated that tickets should not be resold, and their tickets could be voided if they were found to be bought second-hand. As a result, fans are buying at their own risk.

A viagogo spokesperson told Express.co.uk: “The European leg of Taylor Swift’s Eras tour has been long anticipated. We’ve not seen anything like this since and with tickets having only just gone on sale, demand is at its peak right now.

“viagogo is a regulated marketplace where fans have the freedom to buy and sell tickets to their favourite live events, safely and securely, backed by a guarantee. Sellers on our marketplace may list tickets at high values when demand is high, but prices can change and tend to reduce over time. We recommend Swifties wait for demand to settle and check regularly for a listing that meets their budget. Tickets for Taylor Swift’s UK dates have already sold for as low as 172 GBP on our platform. Also, tickets listed at eye-catchingly high levels rarely, if ever, sell.” (sic)

AXS also released a statement, confirming that tickets purchased anywhere other than authorised retailers will not be valid.

They said: “The only way to obtain a valid ticket for Taylor Swift’s shows is via the approved ticket agents. In the UK, the approved ticket agents are: Ticketmaster, AXS or directly through the venue’s website. In Ireland, the approved ticket agent is Ticketmaster. Any tickets found to be purchased via re-sale on the non-official secondary market will not be valid for entry into the concerts and will be cancelled in accordance with the terms and conditions of sale.

“Through official resale facilities, ticket resale prices are capped to help combat the inflation of ticket prices and put a stop to ticket touting. For more information on official resale facilities, fans should visit the website of their approved ticket agent,” they added.

“These resale facilities enable fans to sell their tickets with confidence and empower fans to purchase resale tickets with the assurance that the ticket they are purchasing is genuine.

On top of that, the ticket prices will vary from case to case. As they are resale, prices are set by the people who originally bought them. This means they could be hugely inflated from the original list prices, making them far more expensive than usual. However, fans should note their purchases are only protected by the resale websites – not the original point of purchase (such as Ticketmaster or AXS).

In addition to the official resale facilities, fans will also be able to transfer their tickets via their approved ticket agent, so they can share tickets with friends and family who are also attending the concert. Ticket transfer will be made available much closer to the date of the shows and fans will be notified by email when ticket transfer is available. Fans in the UK and Ireland will then be able to transfer all of their tickets. For more information, please refer to the terms and conditions of sale published on the website of your approved ticket agent.”

How to buy Taylor Swift tickets from Ticketmaster

Taylor Swift tickets were originally available from Ticketmaster.

Buying tickets wasn’t as simple as just logging into the ticket websites and purchasing them; fans could only get tickets if they signed up to buy a slot on specific dates by pre-registering ahead of time. And that’s before they managed to get through the endless Ticketmaster queues to face enormous prices – with many hopefuls being left with Sweet Nothing in the process.

And, of course, that’s on top of selling out every single one of her shows on her monumental Eras Tour. The UK leg of the tour hasn’t even begun yet, but tickets came out earlier this year, and fans were met with digital queues that were longer than they ever expected. Every ticket for every show quickly sold out, including five nights at Wembley Stadium in London, and every appearance the Cardigan singer has at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium.

Taylor Swift finishes her Eras Tour for 2023

Taylor Swift just wrapped up The Eras Tour for 2023, after playing countless shows throughout North America and South America over 12 months.

After hanging up her outfits and laying down her guitar for the final time, she sounded off to her fans for one final time before Christmas on her account, where she confessed the experience has been something she’s “dreamt of” for years.

She wrote: “Bringing a tour to Brazil has been something I’ve dreamt of for years, and those fans blew my expectations away. We’ve officially wrapped up the 2023 Eras Tour and we got to end the year with 6 shows in Rio and São Paulo, with the most magical crowds.”

She added: “I’m so grateful to my touring family, my band, crew and dancers for everything they put into this show all year. To the people who came to see it, you are what made those stadiums feel so alive and electric and unforgettable for me. Really just feeling so proud and moved by what I got to be a part of. See you in 2024,’ the Love Story hitmaker concluded.”
