Legendary popstar Pat Benatar, who rose to stardom in the 80s, has left her fans gobsmacked with her youthful looks, 41 years on from her chart-topping hits.

The stunning singer, best known for anthems like Love Is a Battlefield and Hit Me With Your Best Shot, continued to amaze her followers as she shared a recent photo with her daughter.

With a career boasting two multi-platinum albums, five platinum ones and an impressive 15 hits that made it into Billboard’s top 40, Pat’s contribution to music is undeniable.

Adding to her impressive resume are four Grammy awards and an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in November 2022.

Now at the age of 71, Pat, along with her guitarist hubby Neil Giraldo, made a decision to sell part of their publishing and recorded music assets.

Together, they created chartbusters such as Promises In The Dark, We Live For Love and Heartbreaker.

Expressing his feelings about their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Neil told Guitar World: “Patricia has different feelings about it. I think of it this way: Anything that has words like ‘Hall of Fame’ in it is an honour, and you should respect that honour.”

Pat and Neil have two daughters, Hana and Haley.

Their daughters, 39-year-old Hana, a singer and actress, and Haley, 38, a reality TV star in Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive, have both made names for themselves.

Pat, who had always loved music and performed in school musicals, married her childhood love Dennis Benatar in 1972 and worked as a bank teller.

After attending a Liza Minnelli concert, Pat was inspired to chase her own music dreams.

She moved to New York and began performing at the Manhattan comedy club, Catch A Rising Star. Pat and Dennis divorced in 1979, the same year she released her debut album.

She quickly followed up with a second album a year later, which won her a Grammy for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance.

Pat started collaborating with her current husband Neil in 1979, and they’ve been a team ever since.

Pat has been called the “Romeo and Juliet of rock and roll.” In her 2010 memoir, she talks about fighting with her record company and how fame affected her private life.

She writes in her popular book: “For every day since I was old enough to think, I’ve considered myself a feminist …

“It’s empowering to watch and to know that, perhaps in some way, I made the hard path [women] have to walk just a little bit easier.” Pat is still rocking stages; she sang with Pink last year and went on tour with Neil.
