John Lewis Black Friday sale: Deals on gifts from Le Creuset, LEGO and Charlotte Tilbury

Black Friday is fast-approaching, and retailers are beginning to release deals and discounts throughout November.

Department store John Lewis is one of the go-to places for Christmas shopping, with plenty of variety under one roof.

The festive season has officially arrived at the UK retail giant, with the famous Christmas advert launching last week, and a comprehensive gift guide.

In preparation for Black Friday on November 24, John Lewis is offering savings across some of its most popular departments, including beauty, homeware and toys.

Taking advantage of the early deals can help cut costs on gifts, and get ahead of the late November rush, when it can become overwhelming with hundreds of competing retailers.

Unlike many Black Friday sales that involve discounts on individual products, John Lewis has added discounts across entire brands.

In the cookware section, shoppers can get 20 percent off Le Creuset, which is handy for picking up gifts for budding bakers and chefs this Christmas.

The Le Creuset Stoneware Deep Rectangular Oven Dish comes in 10 different colourways, including the classic Volcanic shade and there are also savings on the Casserole dishes, frying pans and smaller items like salt and pepper grinders and mugs.

For lego-crazy kids (and kids at heart), John Lewis has slashed 25 percent off the entire range, which reduces the LEGO Icons Holiday Main Street from £90 to £67.49, and the LEGO Icons Wildflower Bouquet from £55 to £41.24.

Beauty fans can treat themselves to favourite products from Charlotte Tilbury, which has 15 percent off the entire range, and can add up to some decent savings off the premium prices.

It’s a chance to save on cult products like Charlotte’s Magic Cream or the Glowgasm Beauty Light Wands, or to pick up gifts like the Pillow Talk Matte Revolution Lipstick Bauble.

Although shopping early deals is good for getting ahead of Black Friday, some of the best deals are usually still reserved for the shopping event itself.

It’s always worth comparing prices, and despite not yet starting it’s official Black Friday sale, Amazon has some good deals on Lego, and much more choice than John Lewis.
